General Information
Located in Broomfield, Colorado, at I-25 and Northwest Parkway, North Park is planned to be a vibrant 935-acre mixed-use community developed by McWhinney.
North Park’s convenient central location in the north Denver metro area will make for quick and easy access to Denver International Airport (DIA), downtown Denver, Boulder and University of Colorado, FlatIron Crossing Mall, and other regional attractions.
As currently proposed, North Park will feature a pedestrian-friendly urban core with village town centers and campuses, a 1.8-mile long Central Park that runs diagonally through the community, and a 175-acre Applied Research Center where advances in medicine, applied research, technology and science will be made.
Shopping, dining and entertainment venues are planned to be aligned side by side with office, research, medical and residential uses. A mixture of horizontal and vertical mixed use buildings in the core center are also planned to complement the horizontal single-use buildings in adjacent blocks. Over 6,200 residences are projected to call North Park home.
By connecting walkable mixed-use urban cores to significant employment centers, Broomfield’s North Park will create a defined heart and soul and Central Business District for the North Denver region.
